Hair waving or curling was practiced in the past, particularly during ancient Egypt. They curl their hair using mud and wooden sticks. Curling is largely popular these days and one probably one of the biggest trend to the young generation. Fortunately, technology developed these curling devices to cater our personal hair styles.

Though, chemicals used for hair waving these days are less harmful, it is necessary to do safety measures. These chemicals can irritate the skin and scalp. Also, it weakens the hair and result to hair breakage, split ends and hair fall.

There are many products offered in the market and promised to treat your damaged hair. However, it is important to know which product to used to addressed your hair problem. These products only give temporary solution. To get rid of split ends, it is better to have your hair trimmed. Use clarifying shampoo once a week to remove unwanted residue. Also, make it a point to use moisturizing conditioner to help your hair not become too dry. Most importantly, avoid too much hair styling because prevention is better than cure.
