Caring for Sun-Drenched Skin
If you are staying in a tropical country such as the Philippines, your skin is surely in a lot of trouble. The heat of the tropical sun here is unforgiving and, as the hours roll, you will notice your skin reacting to the sun’s rays. Whether you get an unintentional tan or dried up skin, it is never pleasant to look at either one. Hence, here are some tips on how to keep your skin healthy despite the searing heat of the tropical sunlight.
Since the heat makes your skin lose moisture, apply sunblock lotion before going out your apartment and drink lots of water as you walk around town or the countryside. Of course, do not forget to apply moisturisers once in a while when you feel your skin is a bit dry. Another helpful but basic tip is to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables every chance you can. Do not worry; there is quite an abundance of green stuff throughout the Philippine archipelago. Lastly, go easy on spicy and sour Philippine foods as these can cause your skin to break out.
