Agriculture in the Philippines
The Philippines attained great heights to promote agricultural development being one of the most important sectors in the country. It is important because there are many farmers dependent on the rice farms, which have been their ancestors’ source of livelihood.
Despite the economic struggles, like other countries, this country stood strong against many obstacles. Likewise, Filipino farmers benefitted greatly from the abundance of natural resources and their lands. There are many agriculture products, which have export quality such as sugar, rice, and fruits like bananas, mangoes, coconut, corn, and other crops, among others. Other countries are also dependent of the country’s crop production while it remains to progress in order to function mainly as food supplier to the people. The condition of agriculture in the Philippines remains in its progressive state and slowly the country will have better means and better agricultural practices to sustain life.
On the other hand, if you travel to this country, you will find it very relaxing especially with the climate. You may relax while you check out the farms and explore the culture of the Philippine archipelago. More often than not, tourists and locals prefer the scenery of the working farmers especially during the day because it continually shows that this country is blessed with people, food and livelihood.
